Position Summary

The role of teachers is to provide learners with authentic learning engagements, differentiated learning experiences in a socially, emotionally, and physically safe environment. Our teachers consider themselves learning designers so that students are at the center of a learning journey. A life-long learning approach to living and educating is essential in being part of our school context.

Provide group class instruction to students in the primary school.

Teach English in Primary Years Program.

Have a specialized knowledge teaching English to second language learners and research to develop knowledge further.

Organizing learning material and resources; designing, creating and developing lesson plans to implement in classes.

Ability to communicate well with students, colleagues and parents, towards building a positive school environment.

Assisting students in all activities throughout the day (e.g. mealtime, outdoor activities, single subject classes, etc.). Maintaining the safety and security of students throughout the day.

Observing, assessing, and reporting on the progresses of the students; filing documentation of students' learning outcome and progresses.

Experience with planning, assessment and reporting to parents.

Openness and willingness to embrace cultural differences and work collaboratively in a Chinese bilingual setting.

Familiarity with various teaching resources and integrating curriculum areas to engage little learners.

Attend school events, parent meetings and professional development as scheduled.

Following and complying with teaching standards and safety regulations.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or above in education or related majors where applicable.

Teaching Certificate, PGCE, CELTA, and DELTA preferred.

More than two years teaching experiences preferred.

Native English speaker preferred.

Willingness to work in a collaborative environment.

The ability to obtain a clear background check.

Eager to learn and grow continuously.

General Compensation and Benefits Package

Salary: 25,000-35,000RMB monthly before tax, 13 months payment per year.

Relocation/Local Moving/House set-up Allowances (3000 RMB once).

Housing Allowance (10,000RMB/month).

Home Leave Air Transportation Allowance (10,000RMB annually).

Advanced health insurance medical: for foreign teachers and their eligible dependents.

Start Contract Mobilization: Actual Air fare Reimbursement or international teachers and their eligible dependents. (RMB5,000).

Visa/Work Permit Expenses Reimbursement: for international teachers and their eligible dependents. (Up to 3,000RMB for first entry only).

Professional Development Allowance (IB).

Tuition Fee: The School shall waive tuition fees at the School for the teacher’s eligible dependent children.
