LOOKING FOR A LOWER ELEMENTARY EXPERIENCED TEACHER TO JOIN US IN SEJONG CITY

MLC is a morning pre-school from 9-2:30pm and an afternoon hagwon for lower elementary grades K-6 from 3-6pm.

About Sejong City: It is a beautiful city with bike paths everywhere and a river walk as the central vein without lights and crosswalks (with bike paths). The city was built originally to become the next capital city of South Korea, but most Seoul government workers are still commuting into Sejong instead of living here.

What MLC offers: If you are applying from overseas, a one-way ticket, a place to live and the rest of the standard Korean benefits. If you're applying within Korea, you get the same minus the ticket. Salary is 2.6 million (with the rent taken care of it's more than enough to live on for a month). The director would like the school philosophy to align as closely to independent schools in the US as possible.

There is a Korean teacher in each kindy classroom to assist with parents and eat lunch with the students. Foreign teachers have a set schedule around special classes such as AI Art that are taught by 3rd party services.
