K- G5 teaching vacancies in NEW Gangnam school for June and August 2023

- Start Date: 12th June and 7th August 2023

- Work Hours: 8:30 am -5:30 pm

- Location: Gangnam, Seoul (Seoul Metro line 9)

We are a newly opened K-5 school. We are currently hiring for 2 opportunities: 1) Head of school -Experience working in an international school under the US school system and 2) Teachers for various classes for the 2023-2024 school year, to begin in June and August.

Our school has a family atmosphere that incorporates American curriculum and cultural norms with those of the local context. This year a typical class size is 15-18 students.

1. Head of school - Lead teacher, U.S. Common Core Curriculum*, parent/student counseling, teacher recruitment, and human resources
2. Kinder and Elementary- Homeroom teachers, English, Social Studies, Math, and Science.
3. Music, Art and P.E. - F visa holders only

Candidates should have the following minimum characteristics:

• Minimum of BA in American School System**

• 1+ Solid reference

• Willingness to make at least a one-year commitment

• Strong interpersonal skills in relating to multiple audiences. including students, parents, and teachers-instruction

• Noble-hearted calling to a service post

Preferred characteristics:

• Certification in an American educational system ***

• Two years’ experience in elementary or secondary education

• Experience with non-native English-speaking students (and ideally ESL certification)

• Salary : 3.0-4.0 million won per month depending on major and teaching experience and 4.5-6.0 million won per month for Head of school.
