Anderson English Academy in Mokpo (Namak) is looking for an English teacher to begin as soon as possible any time within the next few months.

Either part time or full time can be offered based on the teacher’s availability. Hours are between 2:30pm and 7:30pm with freedom to leave when you do not have class. Part time would be 9 to 15 hours per week at 45,000w per hour. Full time is 20 to 25 hours per week and salary is negotiable and includes housing, insurance, severance, and pension.

The average class size is 8 students and most classes are elementary school students and a few classes are middle school students.

The focus is on speaking, some writing, and simply offering an enjoyable class for the students.

Textbooks are provided with freedom to supplement with teacher-created PPTs, worksheets, games, etc.

Classes are 50 minutes long and the teacher sees each class twice per week. The environment of our academy is personable and friendly and our staff is motivated and hard-working. Our students are eager to learn and they are enjoyable to teach. We are looking for an experienced and highly-motivated teacher who enjoys working with children.
