English Faculty Position at Soonchunhyang University

Soonchunhyang University in Asan, Korea has openings for Full-time English professor

Qualifications & Requirements:

1. Must have a Master’s degree + 2 years teaching experience at university or public schools, and a native English speaker
   ※ Applicants who completed a Master’s degree in one year or less must have at least 3 years of teaching experience at university or public schools.
2. Degree in Education, English or TESOL, CELTA, TEFL certificate preferred.
3. Degree in Business, or International Relations with teaching experience in Accounting, Economics, and Marketing preferred
4. Degree related Computer Science with at least 2 years of language teaching experience preferred
5. Period of Employment: September 1, 2023– August 31, 2024
6. F-visa or E-1/E-2 visa holder who is currently in Korea is preferred
   Please note that final candidate will be required to come in face-to-face interview.
   
   All Positions: Main Responsibilities:
   1. 15 contact hours per week, will be paid overtime for any hours exceeding 15 contact hours per week.

   Salary & Benefits:

1. 2,369,000 KRW per month basic starting salary with MA
   2. Overtime rate is 33,000KRW per hour
   3. 10 weeks minimum paid vacation
   4. Medical Insurance 50/50
   5. Korea Teachers Pension
   6. Provided furnished one room apartment or a housing stipend of 350,000KRW per month
   7. Travel allowance of 1,000,000 KRW will pay at end of final contract period
   8. Special discounts from Soonchunhyang University Hospital
