Job Title: Native Academic Manager / Methodologist in Language Academy

English Academy in Seoul is looking for a skilled methodologist ready to work in a team to create the best network of language schools in the country!

Starting date: ASAP

Location: Sangwangsimni station, Seoul

Working Condition: M-F / 10am - 7pm (1 hour lunch time)

Vacation: 11 days + all national holidays

Pay: 3mln~ (depends on the work experience)

1. Teacher Training and Support

• Manage the quality of education
• Conduct methodological meetings and seminars with teachers
• Prepare and provide learning materials, assessments and resources
• Monitor student progress and satisfaction
• Teach up to 3 hours a day if necessary
• Develop educational programs
• Create schedules for teachers
• Ensure the quality of conducted lessons
• Conduct trial lessons, level tests

2. Work with Main Language Courses and Additional Language Activities

• Plan, organize, and control educational and methodological work in the language school
• Organize additional language activities such as Speaking Club, Winter/Summer camps, Masterclasses, etc.
• Develop materials for competitions, Olympiads, conferences held in the school

3. Projects for the Development and Promotion of our School

• Develop a school development plan and implement it
• Provide methodological support in opening new branches and supervising the teaching staff

• Higher linguistic, pedagogical, or philological education is preferred.
• Native English speaker
• E/F visa holder
• Proficiency in Korean is a plus
• Possession of certificates are welcomed
• Teaching experience of at least 3 years
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Methodological experience and leadership skills are a big advantage
• Active lifestyle
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Desire to grow and develop together with the school
