Responsibilities

With Students

• Conduct 1:1 online English classes (speaking/writing) with students responsibly and creatively
• Prepare personal or EngAll-provided materials, keeping in mind the student's specific request
• Tailor online class curricula to ensure the needs, level and interests of target students are met
• Ensure active student engagement through creative and interactive classes while respecting students' personal boundaries
• Provide detailed professional feedback on student’s English skills at the end of each class

With EngAll Team

• Diligently attend onboarding (training) meetings arranged by the company and take time to understand how the EngAll system works
• Actively provide feedback on issues that arise during online classes while working with the EngAll support team to resolve said issues
• Respond to communications sent by the team actively

Required Qualifications

• Be a native English speaker having a US, Canada, or UK passport
• Be enrolled in an accredited University, a college graduate, or above
• Ability to arrange learning materials that can optimize student engagement and participation
• Ability to contextualize learning materials to specific cultural and business environments
• High-level communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Strong understanding of Korean culture and willingness to learn and grow
• Have access to a home computer/laptop (Windows or iOS) with reliable internet
• Peripheral devices such as webcam, microphone, and speaker/earphones/headphones
• Private room to teach without background noise
• Clearance for working with children
• AFP National Criminal Check clearance (required for onboard processing)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Postgraduate Degree from an accredited University in English language/linguistics
• Recognized TESOL and TEFL qualifications or equivalent
• Experience of conducting TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC prep classes
• Available between 18:00-22:00 KST (Peak hours for classes)
• Experience in teaching Korean students (online or offline)
• International teaching experience (especially in Asia)
