Hi there! My name is Andrew and I'm one of the founders of SCORE Test Prep & College Counseling. We help students in Latin America study abroad. SCORE has grown incredibly quickly, from just 12 counselees in 2020 to over 200 in 2023. We're looking for someone who can help us with our Digital SAT preparation.

The Digital SAT format is new this year for the international market and will hit the US in 2024. Our goal as a company is to set foot in the US using the practice and skills we've gained teaching the Digital SAT to international students this year. I personally have developed our English program and my partner Pilar has developed the math portion. We would love a person who can handle both parts, but we're also open to hiring multiple people and splitting the course.

Our group class has a maximum of 12 students, includes 40 hours of class, and runs every 2 months. We also offer private classes. Group classes are paid at $25 (USD) per hour, while privates go for $20. We have bonuses in place for group classes that can bring the hourly rate up to over $35.

We do not require you to be in South America, but we do need availability in the afternoons since our classes typically run from 5:30-7:30 PM in Peru. Our next group class starts on August 7th and we're looking to find someone who can be trained up in July (with paid training hours!) to take on that class.

We pay via Paypal and add 5% to your month's pay to offset fees.

Applicants will need to download Bluebook and complete a practice test and send us the results. We expect teachers to be able to score above 720 on the section(s) they would teach.

Reliability and punctuality are paramount here. Likewise, a good internet connection and knowledge of Zoom features is also something we look for.

SCORE has a very flexible and hands-off approach to management. My goal is to make your job easier and get out of your way. We're focused on results and avoid micromanaging. You're free to experiment and incorporate your own methods or materials as you see fit.
